Fall Update on Working In Indian Country Workshops

Posted: November 6, 2012

I have been holding quite a few workshops at conferences this past spring and more recently this fall.  The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services sponsored a workshop in Washington, D.C. and I was honored to present the keynote address for the Washington Department of Commerce 2012 Joint Energy Assistance and Weatherization Technical Assistance Training.  Then I was off to Riverton, WY for the Wyoming Department of Education 3rd Annual Wyoming Native American Education Conference.  November will be back in Washington, D.C. for the Department of Veterans Affairs Native Heritage Month Program.

A two-day workshop is scheduled in South Dakota for November 28 – 29, 2012 at the Wakpa Sica Reconciliation Place in Fort Pierre.

Workshops in the planning stages are tentatively being scheduled for Denver, CO (January or February),  Reno, NV (February), Oklahoma (Spring), Montana (Spring), and other venues.  An updated list of workshops as they are finalized and the registration link can be found at https://www.workinginindiancountry.com/registration-and-scheduling//.  If you are interested in a workshop in your area please visit https://www.workinginindiancountry.com/contact.
